IT IS TEN years on, but the pain cuts ten times deeper for the families of the Arch Cot tragedy.
It was August 26, 2007, when 35-year-old Donavere Codrington, his 27-year-old wife Cassandra and their children – Shaquanda, seven; three-year-old Shaquille and baby Yashiro – died when the cave on which their home at Shalom Apartments, Arch Cot Terrace, Brittons Cross Road, St Michael was built, collapsed.
A 50-tonne boulder came crashing down on the building minutes after and silenced the voices forever.
On Saturday evening, the parents of Cassandra, Maurice Forde and Shirley Linton made their way to the spot to pay respects to their lost loved ones. (AD)
