Shoot-out leaves St Philip folk in fear

RESIDENTS OF APPLE HALL, St Philip, were left shaking and ducking for cover in their homes after a shooting spree on Sunday night.

According to reports, the tranquillity of the coastal community was shattered by the sound of several rounds of high-calibre gunshots around 10 p.m.

When the gunfire ended, many people found their homes riddled with bullets, leaving them fearing for their lives. A few of them who spoke to the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday requested anonymity out of concern for their safety.

They revealed the incident took place at the home of one family in the community. They claimed it was tied to a second failed hit on a youngster who lived at that home. (AD)
