Three charged in Kadooment Day shooting

A teenager and two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting that shocked Barbadians on Kadooment Day. That shooting incident at the end of the Grand Kadooment parade left one man dead and 20 others injured.

Police have charged 22 year old Triston Soneil Alleyne of Morris Gap, Westbury Road, 21 year old Raheem Akeem Grimes of Chadderton Road, St. Michael and 17 year old Elijah Akeem Copland of Chase Gap, Hindsbury Road.

The trio are charged with 23 counts each of endangering life. They are all jointly charged with one count of violent disorder.

They are expected to appear in the District A Magistrates Court today on the charges. (PR)
