The eagerly awaited return of Steve King, the presence of past and present champions and a high-quality field from the region and North America are the ingredients that make up the Williams Industries International Race Meet at Bushy Park this weekend.
Fresh from the workshop in a new Nissan Skyline, King will be drawn in the four-wheel-drive ranks in round three of the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC).
Reigning champions Mark Maloney and Mark Thompson lead Team Barbados, which includes Barry and Roger Mayers; current CMRC lap-record holder and former CMRC champions respectively, into battle against some of the region’s best.
Among the 113 entries made public on Thursday by Bushy Park Motor Sports Inc. (BPMSI) is reigning SR3 Cup champion Suleman “Sol” Esuf, in his first races outside the Suzuki Challenge Series in the ex-Jerry Leach Group 3 Honda Civic. (TT)
