When the new school year, 2017-2018, begins next week, a few of the schools which have been undergoing extensive rehabilitation work over the summer break  will not be ready for the start of the school term on Monday, September 11.

The schools which were a part of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation’s Domestic Summer Programme that are still under renovation are The St Giles Nursery, All Saints Nursery, St John Primary and Wesley Hall Infants.

As a result of this, the St Giles Nursery, All Saints Nursery and St John Primary will begin on Monday, September 18. St George Secondary School will also begin on this date.

New students of the Wesley Hall Infants School will begin classes on Wednesday, September 13 and all other students of that institution will begin classes on Thursday, September 14.

All other schools, both primary and secondary, will start the academic year on Monday, September 11.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation regrets any inconvenience which may be caused by this delay. (MESTI)
