PREEMINENT INSURANCE RATING agency A.M. Best is one step away from raising a red flag on Barbados.
The SUNDAY SUN confirmed that the United States-based entity has issued a new Barbados Country Risk Report in which it raised concern about Barbados’ “high” economic and financial risk.
A.M. Best has ascribed a country risk tier (CRT) of four (amber) to Barbados, meaning there is a “high level of country risk”.
This is one stage away from the highest category, CRT five (red). (SC)
