WALTER REDMAN and Jon Layne were among the divisional winners when the Courtesy Garage September Monthly Medal Tournament was contested last weekend at the Barbados Golf Club.
They all collected trophies and vital points in the race towards the year-end championship play-off, while also distinguishing themselves in a competitive field of 60 players.
In a tournament that featured an 8 a.m. shotgun start on the challenging Durants course, Redman posted a net 62 to emerge winner in the 13 and over handicap catergory, while Layne took the seniors’ division with a net 68.
Gordon Walker (70) was second in the senior’s division, while Wayne Boucher (72) was second among 13 and over players. (PR)
