THE ROMAN CATHOLIC DIOCESE will help those affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in any way it can.

That assurance came from Roman Catholic Bishop of Bridgetown, Bishop Jason Gordon, during a Special Mass entitled We Stand With You! at the St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cathedral in Jemmotts Lane yesterday evening.

The Mass was held for Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, all who suffered loss and those who lost their lives as a result of the recent hurricanes and other natural disasters.

The initiative, although hastily organised, still attracted scores of people, including several Dominicans residing in Barbados. (RB)
