Leave them out – and even ban them! This was the warning given by Sheila Stuart, director of PAREDOS, regarding rear-facing car seats.
She was speaking on the case of Dave Searles, who was freed last week in connection with the death of his five-month-old son. He had forgotten little Ethan in a rear-facing car seat in the car in December 2012.
After Searles was acquitted of all charges, he warned parents to leave the rear-facing car seats in the store.
Yesterday, Stuart supported his call. (RA)
