SJPP the early leaders

Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP) have taken an early lead in the Coca-Cola Barbados Secondary Schools Under-19 Football League 1 with ten points from three victories and a draw in their four matches.

Ray Francis has been in fine form, scoring a beaver-trick when SJPP thrashed Queen’s College 4-1. His goals came in the 11th, 36th, 70th and 73rd minutes. Ethan Bryan had scored for Queen’s College in the first minute.

Francis also got a brace in SJPP’s 5-0 thrashing of Lester Vaughan. Kobe Shepherd, Nadico Smith and Rickneco Marshall were also on target.

The Barbados Community College have also been unbeaten, with a 3-2 win against Alexandra and a draw in their other match. (EZS)
