New pairs champs

New National Dominoes Association’s Dragon Stout Pairs champions were crowned on Friday night.

Andrew Seale and Troy Thomas emerged men’s champions, while Sharon Lynch and Pat Harbin-Jones won the women’s title in the finals at Gusso’s Bar in Dalkeith Road.

Seale and Thomas defeated Andrew Powers and Delisle Parris in the final 6-2, 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 to be winners for the first in this tournament after opting out for the last two years.

The women’s final saw Lynch and Jones triumphing over their Braves club mates, Charmaine Durant and Susan Jean-Baptiste 6-5, 6-0 to become new champions. (EZS)
