Two in a row for Suleman “Sol” Esuf and a win for Barry Gale.
The two drivers carried off the titles of the 2017 Suzuki Challenge Series as intermittent showers affected the finale of the Series during the Barbados Festival Of Speed at Bushy Park last Saturday.
For Esuf, it was back-to-back SR3 Cup titles, while Gale did enough to lift the Swift Cup crown, despite finishing only third and fourth in the last two races.
The series was raced under the new all-arena lighting for the first time and under the watchful eye of former F1 World champion Jenson Button, who drove a specially liveried Radical RS3 RS, in a race against a Twister aerobatic plane, which he described as “proper scary”. (TT)
