‘Hulk’ on point for George Lamming

One of the most poignant scenes from the Marvel movie Avengers was Captain America telling ‘Hulk’, “Smash!”

Yesterday, Kenan Ollivierre of the 2014 champions George Lamming wielded a racket with Hulk on both faces to smash his school to the most exciting finish of the four-year National Primary Schools’ road tennis championships at Rubis Courts, Brighton.

Olivierre shared out three sows in three matches, especially the tie-breaking 21-4 crushing of St Mary’s Kymani Preville in the Cave Shepherd/Berger Royale/A One Supermarkets-sponsored event.

George Lamming, St Mary’s and St Martin’s Mangrove ended with two wins and one loss, with a calculator being used to decide that George Lamming and St Mary’s had pipped St Martin’s Mangrove for the two qualifying spots. (KB)
