Pile Bay man accused of gun, ammo and drug offences

Police have arrested and charged a St Michael man for a number of gun and drug-related offences.

He is Ryan Jason Green, 34, of Pile Bay, Spring Garden, St Michael.

He is accused of unlawful possession of four firearms, unlawful possession of 32 rounds and 67 rounds of ammunition, unlawful possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to supply and trafficking.

Police say members of the Anti-Gun Unit executed a warrant at the residence occupied by Greene.

During the search, three firearms and 32 rounds of ammunition were allegedly discovered.

A subsequent search of a car owned by Greene allegedly revealed the fourth firearm and 67 rounds of ammunition. 

Greene is expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. (PR/NB)
