DOUBLE SOL RALLY BARBADOS winner Paul Bird, Britain’s Rob Swann and an enhanced points system are the ingredients for a nail-biting finish to the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Winter Rally on November 24 and 25.
It’s also the final event of the BRC 2017 championships.
Bird, who will have Scotland’s Stuart Loudoun, the fourth-placed finisher in Rally Barbados 2014 with Paul Bourne, and Swann, with regular co-driver Darren Garrod of Wales, and who finished second in this year’s’ Rally Barbados event, are regional regulars.
Among them is Jamaica’s Jeff Panton, who leads the BRC champion driver title chase with 101 points, in what promises to be an explosive climax to the domestic season. (TT)
