Man facing ammunition charge

Members of the Drug Squad have arrested and charged Rachad Roudolf Hoyte, 24, of 3rd Ave Chapman Lane, St Michael, with unlawful possession of five rounds of ammunition.

This offence allegedly was committed on October 10, at Chapman Lane, St Michael.

On Tuesday, October 10, police executed a search warrant at the residence occupied by Hoyte. During a search of his room, the ammunition was discovered. Hoyte, who was not at home at the time, subsequently presented himself to the police and was charged with the offence.

Hoyte appeared before Magistrate Cuffy-Sargeant in the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court on Tuesday, November 7, and was remanded to prison. He will reappear in Court on December 5. (PR)
