Parents fed up with conditions at Belmont

Parents of students at Belmont Primary School have had enough.

This morning after what they said were years of “empty promises”, they picked up placards and protested against the school’s poor conditions.

They are claiming the My Lord’s Hill, St Michael school is infested with termites, there is a lack of security and the school is in need of significant repairs.

To make matters worse, the parents were infuriated that they had to find out the school was closed today via social media.

The stench which forced an early end to classes yesterday was still in the air.

The parents plan to continue the protest tomorrow. (TG)
