Teen sent to Dodds on gun, ammunition, drug charges

A seventeen-year-old boy has been remanded to prison on gun, ammunition and drug charges.

He is Jaquan Antonio Richards of Lascelles Terrace, Pinelands, St Michael.

Police say he was arrested on Tuesday as members of the Anti-Gun, Tactical Response, (TRU), Canine, and Marine Units, conducted an operation in Pinelands.

Richards appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of seven rounds of ammunition and unlawful possession of cannabis.

Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant remanded him to prison until December 7, 2017. (PR/NB)
