Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee Mia Mottley is reporting progress in at least one matter which has engaged the attention of the body for the last few years.
While stating she was not at liberty to discuss the details of the matter, Mottley said it involved the National Housing Corporation (NHC).
She would only divulge, however, that the issues were related to the finances of the corporation, as well as governance and procurement.
Mottley confirmed that the PAC met last Wednesday.
The Opposition Leader explained that this matter took some time to be thrashed out because the NHC was riddled with problems. (CM)
