A STRATEGIC scheme is coming for this country’s bodybuilding, bikini fitness and physique competitors through which they can reap rich rewards on the international stage.
This was revealed by acting president of the Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (BABBFF) Jo-Ann Haynes yesterday in a wide-ranging interview with WEEKENDSPORT.
“As you are aware, we would’ve sent four athletes to the Ben Weider Legacy Cup in Canada in October and we are planning now for next year what international events we can attend and send athletes to outside of the CAC [Central American and Caribbean] Championships,” said Haynes.
The former manager of the Barbados CAC team is the BABBFF’s second vice-president, but has been filling the top post in the absence of first vice-president Dr Alfred Sparman due to overseas commitments following the provisional suspension of Manasseh King. (EZS)
