The parent who remanded in connection with a school bullying incident is out on $2 500 bail with one surety.

Forty-three-year-old Trevor Callender had been remanded to prison when he appeared in the District “A” Traffic Court on Saturday charged with assault and trespassing on the premises of Christ Church Foundation School.

The Unity Lane, Gall Hill, Christ Church resident appeared in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today and was represented by attorney at law Andrew Pilgrim.

Callender’s son, who attends Deighton Griffith Secondary School, was reportedly attacked by a group of Foundation students two Fridays ago.

He went to both schools to represent the interest of the boy and allegedly caused a disturbance in each case. It is said that his actions escalated while at Foundation. (BN)
