Leap of faith

Unless you are a surfer, the rugged East Coast of Barbados is one most residents tend to avoid.

Riptides, cross currents, jagged submarine rocks and caves are among the dangers awaiting unsuspecting seabathers.

But some members of this group of visitors showed no fear last Friday at Bathsheba, St Joseph.

While some bathed in the water, three women climbed the rocks and prepared to take the plunge as other members of the party waited below with mobile phones to capture the moment. (SAT)
