Accident leaves several injured

A three-vehicle collision left several people complaining of neck and back pains today.

The accident occurred along Brereton Road, St Philip about 7:34 a.m. and involved a car and two vans.

One car was driven by Chrystal Forde, 26, of Bridgefield, St Thomas and she was the lone occupant. The second car was driven by 59-year-old Heather Parris of Breezy Hill, St Philip.

The van was driven by Winston Gittens, 46, of Drax Hall, St George and he was accompanied by his 19-year-old daughter, two 42-year-old men and a 22-year-old youth.

Inspector Roland Cobbler said that those involved in the accident complained of neck and back pain and were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Only Parris sought private medical attention. (AC)
