The four-year-old Christmas In The Square was officially lit up last night in the heart of Bridgetown.
The project, now in its fourth year, was designed to engage the secondary and primary schools and youth groups in Barbados in decorating Christmas trees depicting themes and emblems of the Commonwealth countries using recycled and repurposed material.
There are 88 trees, each standing 12 feet and beautifully adorning Bridgetown, with many of them in Jubliee Gardens thanks to the project Christmas In The Square 2017 organised bay the Royal Commonwealth Society Barbados Branch. (DB)
