Free workshops for refrigeration and AC technicians

Refrigeration and air conditioning service technicians are invited to sign up for one of three free workshops entitled New and Alternative Refrigeration and Refrigerant Technologies, to be hosted by the Ministry of the Environment and Drainage between January and March next year.

The first of these workshops will be held from January 9 to 11; the second from March 6 to 8; and the final one from April 24 to 26. Persons will be required to attend all three days of training.

The sessions will cover topics such as Hyrdrocarbon Refrigerants, Safe-handling and Performance; Carbon Dioxide as a Refrigerant; Ammonia-Water Absorption Refrigerant Systems; Good Practices in Servicing and Maintenance of RAC Equipment; and Practical Retrofit of a System to use Hydrocarbon Refrigerant.

Interested persons are asked to register for the January 2018 session by Thursday, December 28, as space is limited.
