The Nation’s 2017 Forever I Do competition culminated today in a spectacular wedding at Mayfield House, St George.

The winning couple Christopher Millar and Shaquille Holder said “I do” in front of family and friends at the beautifully decorated venue.

Though the rain threatened at times, it in no way put a damper on the mood and the amount of love felt in the venue.

Following the ceremony Mr and Mrs Millar, told the SUNDAY SUN they were happy to be married.

“It feels great to be here today. It’s been a couple tough months, but to have it climax this way is great. Everything is perfect, everyone looks great, everyone is happy, we are happy and most of all we are married,” Shaquille said.

Christopher added, “It feels like just now a weight was lifted off our shoulders. It feels really good to know we came here, got married and get to spend the rest of our lives together.”

The couple will be heading off to their honeymoon in Fort Lauderdale on Monday. (DB)
