The man accused of murdering the cousin of international superstar Robyn Rihanna Fenty was remanded to HMP Dodds yesterday.

A stone-faced Shawayne Deshawn Williams was not required to plead to murdering Tavon Alleyne on December 26 when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court.

Williams’ distraught-looking mother and the sister of the deceased were clad in black and white as they sat through the brief proceedings.

The 23-year-old, of Whitehall No. 1, St Michael, was represented by attorneys Angela Mitchell-Gittens and Rashida Edwards.

He returns to court on January 31. (RB)
