Man accused of wounding security guard gets bail

A man was granted bail today after appearing in court in connection with the January 13 stabbing of a security guard.

Forty-five-year-old Mark Anthony Davis of River Road, St Michael is accused of wounding with intent.

The incident occurred at Jordan’s Supermarket, Fairchild Street, The City.

Davis appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Douglas Fredericks and was granted $5 000 bail with one surety.

As part of his bail conditions, he must keep 50 yards away from the supermarket.

Davis will reappear in Court on April 17. (PR/NB)
