POLICE are carrying out investigations into reports that an elderly woman was mauled by two large dogs this morning around 9:05 in the Brighton, St Michael area.
Eyewitnesses said they were alerted by loud screams and on responding, they saw the woman, said to be in her eighties, on her knees at the mercy of the attack.
The victim was reportedly inflicted with wounds to her buttocks, right thigh and forearm, injuries described as “not looking too good”.
A good Samaritan, who did want to be identified told NATION NEWS that after she heard the cries for help she got into her car and drove to the area and the sound of the vehicle caused the dogs to run off. (JS)
