Scotiabank transfers back up

Share post:

Wire transfer transactions have resumed at Scotiabank following challenges with processing them for a few days last week.

The bank made it clear that the issue it experienced had nothing to do with any foreign exchange shortage, as some of its customers feared.

In a statement, Scotiabank said: “We can confirm that we experienced an issue this week that impacted our wire transfers. It is our priority to ensure wire transactions are completed as quickly as possible and we worked directly with impacted customers to complete their outstanding transactions.

“We apologise for the service disruption that our customers experienced and assure them that they can visit any of our branches to conduct their wire transfers.” (SP)
