The Barbados Revenue Authority welcomed customers back to the Ground Floor of its Treasury Building location on Monday following a substantial renovation of the area. The section received a significant makeover, as part of the Authority’s focus on enhancing service delivery.

Director of Corporate Services, Carolyn Barton highlighted that the public will have access to more spacious and customer friendly facilities of this high-traffic customer service location.

“We are pleased to be reopening this section of the building following the significant structural upgrades to improve both staff and customer comfort. The revamped section features a new and more spacious layout which accommodates more officers on the floor to service customers,” she said.

“As we prepare for the upcoming Income Tax Filing period, we wanted to ensure that this space was available. During the renovations, the Customer Service section had been relocated across two floors in the Treasury Building. This took some adjustment for all concerned and I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding over the past several months.” (PR)
