Officials from the Ministry of Education and the Royal Barbados Police Force are on the scene at St. Leonard’s Boys’ School.
A resident confirmed there was a stabbing incident involving a number of boys of the Richmond Gap, St. Michael’s school earlier today.
He said the boys were fighting outside the school, one boy was attacked and injured and some of the other students ran off, leaving the injured student.
Students are currently meeting with the principal, Joseph Maynard, in the school hall and a number of parents have started to converge outside the locked gates.
There is no official word on the condition of the injured student.
