OUCH Boutique owner Grenville Ricardo Delpeache today became the first man to be convicted of selling knock-offs of the Puma brand in Barbados.
However, the 44-year-old of Passage Gardens, Passage Road, St Michael, will sentenced in April.
Magistrate Graveney Bannister convicted him on three charges relating to 17 pairs of slippers including Puma’s Fenty by Rihanna, seven single shoes (those placed on display) and 31 haversacks, which were found to be fake Puma items at his store’s former Swan Street and Milk Market.
Magistrate Bannister ordered a pre-sentencing report and allowed Delpeache’s bail to continue until its completion.
Delpeache returns to court on April 17 to hear the contents of that report. (HLE)
