Man remanded in connection with Shirley Rogers’ murder

A 43-year-old man has been remanded to prison after appearing in court charged with murder in connection with the unnatural death of 73-year-old Shirley Rogers.

He is Shawn Christopher Inniss of no fixed place of abode.

Rogers, who also had no fixed place of abode, was found slumped on a bench at a bus shed along the Princess Alice Highway, St Michael on February 14.

Inniss appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today and will reappear on March 22. (PR/NB)
