Former Chief Town Planner Mark Cummins is now Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.
Cummins’ move to the new Ministry was revealed when acting director of cultural policy and research Dr Donna Greene welcomed him in the new capacity, while he was attending the private screening of the blockbuster movie Black Panther at the Olympus Theatres last night.
The screening was organised by the Ministry of Culture and the Commission for Pan African Affairs and the Culture Minister Steven Lashley gave the feature address.
In a brief conversation with NATIONNEWS afterwards, Cummins confirmed that he had assumed the new position effective last Monday. (GC)
