Man charged with Maxine McClean robbery

Police have arrested and formally charged a St. Philip man in connection with the robbery of Foreign Affairs Minister Maxine McClean.

The robbery occurred on Saturday the 10th of February 2018, whilst at University Drive, Black Rock, St. Michael.

He is Ansley Lamar Worrell, 30 years of #117, Woodbourne Park, St. Philip.  Worrell, was formally charged for the offence of Robbery. 

Worrell also faces additional charges of:

Two (2) counts of Making Off without payment

One (1) count of Theft of number plate

One (1) count of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.

Worrell is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court on Saturday the 10th of March 2018.
