The WPortfolio celebrations for International Womens Day at Hilton Barbados two Thursdays ago drew scores of women for a symposium which addressed gender equality and femininity in the business workplace.
Participants connected with high-profile speakers and other women in a forum that allowed them to explore their unique areas of concern in the business world.
A few men were present, though organisers would have liked to see more taking advantage of the opportunity to hear from women and share ideas about how both genders can operate on an equal platform in the world of business.
The coffee breaks however gave way to woman talk and great socialising. (GC)
