The lines have been drawn in the sand as the final four in the Under-9 and Under-11 divisions of the Scotiabank National Youth Cup have been decided.
With the preliminary rounds wrapped up last weekend, the strongest sides have shown themselves and will be looking to secure spots in the finals.
In the Under-9 top-tier, Fitts Village West Coast led things in Zone A and came away without dropping a single game. Playing twice in their group, they picked up five wins and a draw for 16 points. They were followed by Pro Shottas, who won four of their six games to end with 12 points.
Zone B winners were Kick Start Hot Shots and they also ended with 16 points from five wins and a draw. Second were King’s Park Rangers with 11 points from three wins, two draws and a loss.
In Tier 2, it was the top teams advancing and White Hall and newcomers United Stars Alliance ran the show, collecting 16 points each from five wins and a draw. The two were separated only by goal difference, as White Hall had 20 from scoring 22 goals and only conceding two. United, on the other hand, scored 18 and gave up two for a difference of 16.
Third and fourth place went to Kick Start Suns and All Stars Elite, who both had nine points from three wins and three draws. Kick Start got the edge from a goal difference of -1 after scoring ten and conceding 11, while All Stars keepers were beaten 14 times as the team scored eight (-6).
However, fifth-placed Empire (7) will be advancing on two wins and a draw as a stipulation sees Kick Start unable to have a team advance as they already have one in Tier 1.
