Impact World performances continue to mesmerize audiences across Barbados. The three teams: Global Expression, Team Extreme and Island Breeze deliver a smorgasbord of family entertainment featuring hip-hop dancers in a faced-paced multimedia programme, strength athletes, authentic ninjas, and Pacific islanders who showcase the beauty of Polynesian culture.

Since the local campaign began five weeks ago some 25 000 people have witnessed the presentations, in schools and various communities around the island.

Performers display their breathtaking talents and costumes along with stories of pain, brokenness, disappointment and fear and how they overcame seemingly insurmountable life challenges. Each programme incorporates a message of hope and renewal, aimed particularly at young people.

Joel McGill, lead coordinator for the Impact World Campaign noted: “We are excited by the receptivity to the various presentations, especially by the youth. I believe our message of hope will have a positive and lasting impact on their lives.”

There are only two performances left before the curtain comes down. Today, Island Breeze, rated the No.1 family programme in Hawaii, will transport the audience on a spectacular ride to the Pacific. Tomorrow, all three teams will appear in the Grand Finale which will feature acts never seen before in this campaign. Both shows are at Kensington Oval at 6:30 p.m. For further details visit www.impactcaribbean.org. (PR)
