A wanted man was shot by police officers this morning during a confrontation in Rock Hall, St Philip.
Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Rodney Inniss confirmed the reports, telling the NATION that acting on information received, police went to an abandoned house in the district this morning where they encountered the suspect.
There was a brief confrontation, during which the suspect was shot. The injuries are not reported to be life-threatening and the person was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical treatment. More details as they come to hand. (AL-F)
