The Brownies from St Stephen’s Primary School shone brightly during their inaugural Easter bonnet parade on Saturday.
Showcasing their own designs, the 13 girls paraded at the Ann Gill Memorial Church in Fairfield, Black Rock, St Michael, in front of parents and guardians.
The costumes depicted the themes Easter Garden Party and Easter Eden.
Coordinator Esther Lynch-Scott said she decided to host the parade so the girls in the Brownie unit, which was founded two years ago, would have a greater understanding of the season.
“I wanted to get them involved to celebrate the Easter holiday . . . and allowing them to have a little fun while doing so,” she added. (DB)
