History was made at the Regional Police Training Centre (RPTC) Seawell, Christ Church, yesterday when Police Constable 2234 Rashida Gill became the second female to become the Best Recruit in the same year.
She followed Constable 114 Janelle Browne of Anguilla, who achieved a similar honour two months earlier.
Gills’ achievements were celebrated during the 142nd Passing-Out Parade at which 17 other Barbadian graduates were also lauded for their six months of training at the regional institution. She won awards for being Best At Physical Training, Best At Police Duty Subjects, Student With The Highest Aggregate and Most Outstanding Student. (SB)
