Mother wants to bury son

It has been nine long weeks of torture for Sharon Callender whose 20-year-old son, Daquan “Willy” St Hill, has been missing since February 9.

The 43-year-old said life had not been the same for her and her family since, and repeated that she feared he was dead.

During a brief interview from her Dash Valley, St George home, she said: “I am tired as ever because I don’t get much sleep at night; he is constantly on my mind.”

The mother of seven said special prayer meetings were being conducted every Wednesday night for her and the family at the Mapp Hill Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

“I would like anybody with any information, no matter how little it may be, to call CrimeStoppers. . . .

“I want to bury my son; I just want what is left of him.”

Callender added she had not received any recent updates from the police about St Hill.

He was last seen by his father, Anderson St Hill, around 7:30 p.m. on February 9 in Dash Valley. Subsequent searches by police and the canine unit proved futile. (SB)
