Fire ravages mechanic shop and cars

A mechanic workshop and three cars went up in smoke at Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church, Friday afternoon.

The Barbados Fire Service responded with two tenders to a call they got around 2:40 p.m., but despite bringing the blaze under control the shop and cars were destroyed.

Electricity to the immediate area was affected temporarily as a result of the fire. (JS)
