Barbados Light and Power advises the public that there is currently an outage impacting customers in the Searles and Coverley areas. The outage was caused by a large brush fire at Searles which has damaged a pole.
BL&P emergency crews are currently on site and are working to replace the damaged pole and restore power safely. Restoration is anticipated to take several hours.
