Check Preliminary List of Electors from May 2

All eligible people are encouraged to check the Preliminary List of Electors, which was published on Monday, April 30, to ensure that they are registered to vote.

The list may be inspected at the Revising/Registration Centres from Wednesday, May 2, until Monday, May 7, with the exception of Sunday, May 6, between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. For a list of the Revising/Registration Centres, persons may call the Electoral Department’s PBX at 535-4800, or view the Barbados Government Information Service’s website www.gisbarbados.gov.bb.

In addition, the list may be examined at the Electoral Department at Warrens Tower II, on weekdays, between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and the Public Library in Independence Square, The City, from Monday to Saturday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

People whose names do not appear on the Preliminary List of Electors are advised that they should ensure they are registered on or before Monday, May 7, which is the last day for applying for registration for the May 24 General Election. (BGIS)
