Comedy show leaves crowd in stitches

Laughter is good medicine. And if you needed a pick me up on Sunday then you should have been at the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.

The event was Caribbean Kings and Queen of Comedy by Twisted Entertainment.

From Jamaica to Trinidad to New York, those who graced the stage showed that comedy is a serious career.

While some would have been a bit uncomfortable at the raw and raunchy language at times, things said in humour have a serious message as evident by crowd pleaser Rachel Price.

Majah Hype who closed the show brought a couple of his “friends” as did Quite Perry from Jamaica who facetimed “Patricia”.

Also on the bill providing plenty laughter for almost five hours that had your sides hurting was Chow Pow, Christopher Johnny Daley, Trevor Eastmond and Mac Fingall who also had emcee duties. (NS)
