Members of the public are reminded of the launch of the 2018 Community Independence Celebrations this Saturday, May 12, at the North Stars Cricket Club, Crab Hill, St Lucy, beginning at 5 p.m.
This year’s programme is themed Building Community Spirit … Embracing Our Culture, and will include performances from past participants of the parish talent competition, including the Daryll Jordan Steel Orchestra, Latoya Bowen, Tamia Reece and Orville Blackman. (BGIS)
