Browne gives Lashley failing grade in St Philip North

First-time Barbados Labour Party candidate Dr Sonia Browne has accused her St Philip North opponent Michael Lashley of the Democratic Labour Party of using the people of the Constituency to get what he wants.

Speaking at a joint mass meeting, Browne, the BLP candidate, claimed Lashley who is Minister of Transport and Works has only repaired a couple of roads in the constituency while also lamenting the poor bus service.

Dr Browne said there is just one community centre in the constituency which is mainly used for line dancing while schools like St Catherine and her alma mater St Mark’s are in dire need of repairs.

She said Lashley has not delivered on the many job promises he has made to his constituents. (EZS)
