The Democratic Labour Party (DLP) is out front in the race to the May 24 General Elections.

Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler made this assertion while wrapping up a DLP meeting at Blades Hill, St Philip Sunday night.

Comparing it to a horse race, he said the election campaign is over nine and a half furlongs and the DLP is making a strong run coming down the home stretch.

“We’ve now taken lead in this election. The momentum is with us,” the St Michael North West candidate, contended.

He further chided CADRES pollster Peter Wickham for his inability to get his usual pre-election poll published.

“I am telling you that if their polling was showing that the Democratic Labour Party was getting washed off, the NATION newspaper would’ve found money to print it,” he charged. (ES)
